Yelena studies her poisons
Yelena Zaltana has been plucked from the dungeons and 'persuaded' to become a royal food taster. Part of this job is getting to know her poisons and while it's not an exciting part of the job, it requires much study and experimentation. So Yelena sits studiously at her desk in her small chamber, browsing through the books Valek gave her while a concoction bubbles away in the background, scratching at her parchment paper with her black quill pen.
